We will inform you if this is the case. We shall try and meet as many of the objectives as possible through an online event, so keep the time free! This is a five-day-course scheduled for 2-6 November 2020. The objective of the online course is to optimize the use of data from meteorological satellites and to boost the knowledge and skills of meteorological trainers contributing to improved forecasting. This one week classroom course will be preceded by a mandatory online course (Online RA-I Meteorological Satellite Applications 2020 course). The purpose of the course is to (a) Develop the participants' awareness of what is possible with imagery in the context of operational forecasting; (b) Help in self-assessment of the current skills, and learn from other forecasters.
