SEEMET- Advanced South Eastern Europe Meteorological Training Course

The training course is the Advanced South Eastern Europe Meteorological (SEEMET) training course, which will be organised with the EUMETSAT, EUMeTrain and EUMETCAL support. The course will be focused on mid-latitude cyclones. Due to COVID-19 pandemic the course will be given online. There will be 2 weeks of self-paced preparation for the course (from 5 to 16 October) followed by 5 days online course from 19 to 23 October 2020.
The target audiences for the course are meteorological forecasters from the SE European countries: Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Republic of North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Moldavia, Romania, Kosovo (UNSCR 1244/1999), Greece and Albania.
Since it is an advanced course, it is designed for more experienced forecasters.
