Description:
The Training School and Workshop on Aerosol Detection and Monitoring aims to provide an awareness of state-of-the-art satellite-based and model-based products and offer opportunities to learn more about the applicability and the effectiveness of the respective products.
This school is offered in two parts:
- Phase I (9 - 12 Nov) - Training School, open to all - please register
- Phase II (15 - 17 Nov) - Practical Workshop by application only
This school is jointly organized by EUMETSAT, Barcelona Supercomputing Center, WMO-SDS with the support of ECWMF-CAMS, and ACTRIS.
Targeted Audience:
Actors in Meteorological and transnational Agencies, focusing on Europe, North Africa, Middle East, and Sahelian Africa.
Researchers / academics from the above regions, with a focus on beginners in aerosol detection and monitoring.
