The course covers the principles of climate monitoring from space and develops learner's ability to access and analyse satellite-derived climate data using the European Space Agency's Climate Analysis Toolbox.
Targeted Audience:
Undergraduate students, climate researchers and professionals wishing to exploit satellite-derived time series for a suite of GCOS Essential Climate Variables.
Expected Outcomes:
Better understand the climate systems; access and analyse essential climate variables; create maps, time series and trends of global long term time series developed by the European Space Agency using ESA's climate analysis toolbox; and evaluate the results of data analysis.
