Description:
In this theoretical-practical training, participants will learn how to perform hydrological analyses using the ArcGIS Pro application such as the extraction of the drainage network, automatic delimitation of micro-basins, calculation of water erosion; know and apply the model to delimit floods called H.A.N. D. and learn about other free web services available. Objectives: • Use commands from the Hydrology tool and Arc Hydro to perform spatial analysis. • Calculate erosion rates • Use Model Builder to systematize processes • Apply Arc Hydro's H.A.N.D. flood delimitation model • Learn about ArcGIS Online tools and other services such as GeoGlows Hydroviewer
Targeted Audience:
No previous GIS experience is required to take the course, but the participant must have an ArcGIS Pro version 3.0 or higher license with the Spatial Analyst extension and an ArcGIS Online corporate account.
