EUMETSAT series of short courses: OSI SAF sea ice climate records

Description:
This event will focus on presenting the Sea Ice Climate Records produced and distributed by OSI SAF team at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. It will detail the characteristics of those multi-sensor products allowing studies of the sea ice extent over 40 years.
The main contributing experts will then present the different products. They will explain how the datasets are organized, and what user need to know to properly use it.
A practical demonstration will show the remote use of the data and their use at a basic level.
The short course will consist of a 1.5-hour webinars. Two sessions with the same content will be held on September 21 (08:00 - 09:30 and 13:00 to 14:30 UTC). The participants are invited to choose which of the two session fits him better. The session will include a Q&A and feedback session. To support participants in using the data sets and tools we highlight, we will keep the online Q&A platform open for one week following the webinar, responding quickly to any queries posted.
