The course will be delivered by the Research Centre for Water Resources (RCWR), the WMO Regional Training Centre for Hydrology in Indonesia. The training aims to enhance the capacity development of those working with flood prediction analysis, assisting the establishment of Flood Early Warning Systems (FEWS).
The course program will focus on the use of data derived from satellite observations to estimate rainfall. Various rainfall-runoff models, such as HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS, will be discussed in detail during this short course.

Targeted Audience:
The course is aimed to Hydrologists, flood forecasters, researchers, post-grad students. It is recommended that participants in this course have a higher education degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or similar subject area.
