The course will be delivered by the Research Centre for Water Resources (RCWR), the WMO Regional Training Centre for Hydrology in Indonesia. The course program will focus on the presentation and discussion of important concepts related to water management, specifically considering water availability analysis using rainfall-runoff models; raw water demand; irrigation water demand; water balance and allocation; Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM); water allocation for seasonal patterns, annual planning and licensing; and reservoir operation patterns in water allocation planning. Targeted Audience:
The course is aimed to professionals working in the fields of water resource management, hydrologists, flood forecasters, researchers, post-grad students. It is recommended that participants in this course have a higher education degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or similar subject area.
