This training course is designed for marine weather forecasters from Central America and the Caribbean who have successfully completed a five-week online phase previously conducted. The goal is to enhance capacity in using satellite products from polar-orbiting satellites to improve the diagnosis of current marine weather conditions, thereby strengthening forecasting capabilities.

Marine Weather forecasters, general forecasters in areas highly influenced by marine events, and professionals involved in science-to-operations processes.
