The RGB Experts and Developers Workshop 2025 will be hosted by SMHI, EUMETSAT, and WMO on 1-3 April 2025 at headquarters of Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI), Norrköping, Sweden. It will be the fifth in a series of RGB-related community events after 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2022, which resulted in widely-agreed RGB composite standards used in operations, training and research. The primary goal of this workshop is to agree on RGB standards for the contemporary GEO-ring imagers (namely AHI, ABI and FCI) to be published in the WMO RGB Report. Secondary aim is to share knowledge on RGB creation and applications, plus to identify common platforms to share the RGB recipes and info.
