- The Consortium of WMO Education and Training Collaborating Partners (CONECT) is offering a series of webinars about the revised Basic Instruction Packages for Meteorologists (BIP-M) and Meteorological Technicians (BIP-MT). This first session of the 2025 CONECT Webinar Series will take place 25 June at 12:00 UTC. The session will provide an overview of the revised BIP-M and BIP-MT, adopted by the 19th World Meteorological Congress in 2023. Presenters will explore the motivations for the review, outline the revision process, and highlight the most significant changes aimed at aligning education and training standards with evolving professional needs and modern teaching practices.
