Applying FCI data in operational procedures, forecasters are able to follow, in near-real time, the development of storms, fog development and dissipation or track the large- and meso-scale weather systems affecting their area, with the aim to provide more precise and timely warnings about weather hazards. The webinar will give an overview of MTG FCI data and products and new findings on their utility, showcasing the applications through recent selected examples.
