A hybrid event hosted at EUMETSAT, as part of its 40th anniversary, bringing the European Weather Cloud (EWC) user community together to discuss the latest developments, use cases, and future possibilities of the EWC.
Jointly organised by EUMETSAT and ECMWF, the workshop provides an opportunity for users to engage directly with the teams behind the EWC, and with peers who are leveraging this platform for various applications in meteorology, climate, and environmental science. Users from diverse backgrounds, ranging from fisheries and environmental monitoring to weather prediction and AI-driven modelling, will share their experiences, challenges, and innovative solutions developed using EWC. This segment highlights the real-world applications of the cloud.
The full agenda is coming soon.
Attendees can join on-site at EUMETSAT, Darmstadt, Germany, or online.
The workshop is open to participants from ECMWF and EUMETSAT Member and Co-operating States.
