The IGAC Early Career Short Course is a 40 person three-day peer-designed course, with hands-on training, on atmospheric chemistry, data analysis, international network building, and soft skills training.
As part of the course, EUMETSAT experts will deliver a three-hour interactive workshop on remote sensing that combines theoretical concepts with practical applications. Participants will gain hands-on experience exploring atmospheric composition data using EUMETView and Jupyter notebooks, through guided demonstrations and interactive exercises, providing a practical introduction to satellite-based atmospheric observations.
Targeted Audience:
This course is intended for 'early career researchers', defined for this purpose as PhD or Masters students, or people within three years of graduation from a PhD or Masters programme. Undergraduates, or people not yet enrolled in a PhD or Masters programme, are not eligible.
